The Base is single-origin beans from Uganda. The 2 refers to the two roast levels—light and dark—that these beans undergo. The resulting blend is strong on flavor and full-bodied while remaining smooth and sweetly approachable. You might detect vanilla and cocoa notes, but it’s a harmonious binary relationship that overcomes the bitter opposition of 0’s and 1’s.
