Description
If you first thought Pink Floyd’s landmark 1973 album, then you revealed your generation and/or musical proclivities. But better to think Bali Blue Moon beans (which when raw actually have a bluish hue) taken to the dark side of the roast spectrum to produce a rich, smoky, chocolatey brew. The coffee-producing region of the island of Bali happens to be in the historically Hindu region, where for centuries farmers practiced an ecologically sustainable form of irrigation inspired by Bali’s traditional philosophy of Tri Hita Karana or “three causes of well-being”: harmony with God; harmony among people; harmony with environment. The coffee grown there follows these principles and are by default organic because pesticides are strictly banned from use. Why not make Dark Side of the (Bali Blue) Moon your cause of well-being?
